Toledo Zoo

On Tuesday, we headed to the Toledo zoo.  It was a great zoo, we all had a really good time and the boys want to go back soon.  It's an old zoo with neat old buildings.

My favorite was this gorgeous polar bear!  It was so cool to see him swimming.

Of course, the reptile house was a big hit.  The insect house was cool as well, we got to see some BIG spiders being hand-fed!

We also liked the hippos as we don't have any at our zoo.  They have a huge pool, but none were swimming :o(

Grant had a little trouble in this exhibit! LOL!

What to do on a warm sunny day? Go to the zoo of course!  We met the Coles there and had a really nice day.  We were able to see the baby elephant following his mom around and the 3 new lion cubs wrestling with each other and their mother. Grant was thrilled to see the "wions".

These 3 seem to be on the wrong side of that fence :o)
