Easter

We had an Easter egg hunt at church on Palm Sunday. Grant and Dylan hunted (last year for Dylan, everyone up to fifth grade can participate) but Jack was camping with the cub scouts.

I couldn't find Dylan and his friend for awhile then I spotted them and I just laughed. Dylan was holding the bag while his friend threw in eggs. They would go back to a discreet spot and open up the eggs....candy=keep, stickers and stamps-put back out for the other (less fortunate) kids. There was a 15 egg limit so they wanted to make the best with their allotted eggs :-)

Easter morning the boys went through their buckets...

Then we headed to my mom and dad's house for more baskets, egg hunting, and eating (stuffing ourselves until we couldn't move). Nicole and I picked out this dress for Lena and those coral shoes and she had a sweet little yellow cardigan!

Grant decided to wear all the things he got for Easter (except the socks and the long sleeved shirt). Quite the fashionista!

I don't know if you can see Dylan's mouth stuffed full of all things sugary and chocolatey or not, but if you were anywhere near him at any point of the entire day, we was eating candy :-) We couldn't believe how much stuff he ate, it was making me sick to watch him. He takes after his daddy and his dad's dad for sure!
