Walk to Creekside

Jack's class took a walk to Creekside this morning. A momma duck and her two babies entertained the kids for a long time.


The kids watched for the two snapping turtles that live in the swamp, but they couldn't find them. My guess is the noise of two kindergarten classrooms scared them away :-)



The walk had to be cut short by a roll of thunder and a few raindrops on the way home. No one melted, thank heavens!
