Odds and Ends

I've got a few stories to share and thought I'd lump them all together in one post.  First of all Jack and I had a date last night and went to the High School production of A Christmas Story.  You know, Ralph and 'you'll shoot your eye out'.

It was great.  They included every great scene from the movie and even added a few.  The boy who narrated was fantastic.  He narrated the entire show by heart, no reading or prompts, he didn't miss a beat. It was Jack's first play and certainly not his last.
Next, on to the duel which occured at 107 Heil Drive between a certain little three year old and his momma.

This match up was definitely not fair as Grant had two guns shoved in his pants (one in the underwear), a light saber and a giant sword and what did he give me to defend myself with?  You see them there,  look carefully...a plastic drum stick and a rhythm stick :-(  Guess who won?
And lastly, because the weather was so great we decided to enjoy the beautiful fall day with a little leaf jumping.

Superdog!

Leaf angels!

I couldn't resist that last one, what a cutie!
