Conferences

I had the boys' school conferences this evening.  They went great.
Jack's teacher said that she loves having him in her class, he is the perfect student, very quiet, and a rule follower :o)  He needs to work on his signature, which is hilarious!  His handwriting is pretty good, but his name is a mess because he writes it with these really fast hand motions.  I think he is trying to copy the way Matt and I sign our signatures.  She is so nice she even had candy (chocolate mind you) in a bowl outside her room while you waited, love her.
Dylan's conference went well also.  His teacher is very sweet  and we shared a few chuckles about Dylan.  He had to evaluate himself in all areas of school, conduct, subjects, etc.  He thinks he is doing very well and so does his teacher.  His only questionable area was his spelling, or as he wrote 'speling.'  I just laughed and laughed.  But, he did get a 100% on his last spelling test!!!! YEA!!!!  She also said that he and Seth, his best buddy, are sitting a little closer and they sometimes get a little chatty, but the funny thing is that they are chatting about the subject they are discussing in class, like Ohio history or letter writing :o)
I am very proud of both of them.  I am glad they know how to behave out in the big world :o)  Way to go guys!
